Who We Are

About the Foundation

Antim Seba Foundation is an initiative dedicated to assisting members of the American Bangladeshi Hindu community in Michigan with funeral and final rites support, carried out with full respect for the consent and wishes of each family.

Rooted in the sacred Hindu tradition of seva — selfless service — we believe that every soul deserves to depart this world with honor, and that every grieving family deserves to be surrounded by community, not navigating their loss alone.

The foundation also stands beside financially vulnerable families, offering guidance, coordination, and community-based assistance during times of deepest grief.

What We Offer

Our Planned Services

🙏

Final Rites Support

Compassionate assistance with cremation arrangements, Hindu religious customs, ritual coordination, and family support when a community member passes away. No family should face this alone.

🤝

Humanitarian Assistance

Dedicated support for families facing emotional, logistical, or financial hardship during their most difficult times — ensuring that financial constraints never diminish the dignity of final rites.

🕊️

Community Coordination

Connecting grieving families with trained volunteers, Hindu religious representatives, and community organizations across Michigan to ensure holistic and culturally sensitive support.

Looking Ahead

Our Future Vision

The foundation plans to establish an independent memorial site for the Michigan Bangladeshi Hindu community — a permanent, sacred space where families can gather to honor and remember their loved ones with full dignity and tradition.

Our organizers are actively working toward creating clear governance policies and a structured framework to make this initiative fully transparent, accountable, and sustainable for generations to come.

“From service comes humanity; from memory comes eternal respect.”

We warmly welcome advice, participation, and cooperation from Hindu religious institutions, community leaders, volunteers, and all members of the diaspora. Together, we build something lasting.
